Data encryption

Your data is encrypted with standard, well-tested methods:

Encryption at rest

Stored data is encrypted at rest with AES-256, the default on the cloud services we use.

Encryption in transit

Data in transit is protected with TLS, and our sites support TLS 1.3.

Key management

Keys and secrets are kept separate from the data and out of source code.

Access control and authentication

• Role-based access, so people see only what their role needs
